Feathers in the hair is a very recent hair style. Every girl either has hair feathers or thought about getting some. In a room full of people there would be at least a couple girls in the room with feathers in their hair. Hair feathers are definetly a fad, because they use to be really popular and they are already starting to fade away. I have not gotten a feather but i have thought about it when they were really popular. I think in the next month or so the feathers will be completely gone and something new will replace them.
Silly Bandz are another example of a Fad. You could find these silly bandz absolutely anywhere! Even the doctors office i worked for had them to hand out to kids. Most people had dozens of these bandz and would wear a lot of them at the same time. In school you would see kids comparing and showing there bands to other kids. Everywhere you went you saw these! But like all fads these silly bandz disapeared just as fast as they appeared.
Planking pictures was blowing up facebook about a month ago and now you barely ever see someone post a picture of planking. The idea was to get the most ridiculous picture of planking and post if for everyone to see. I don't really see the point of this fad. As you can see here this is a pretty extreme planking! People went to a lot of work to get the coolest picture of planking. I would say planking lasted maybe a month, which this is a really fast ending fad. But it also came popular just as fast!
Zebra Print was everywhere you looked! I have to admit i'm really into this fad. Almost everything i get is some kind of zebra print. I love it! You can get zebra print in almost anything! If you would go to a store you would see Zebra blankets, clothes, car seat covers, key chains, and anything else you could think of. Zebra Print use to be EXTREMELY popular and you would see a girl with some kind of zebra on them. Now you don't see it as much, its still popular but not as much as it use to be.
Justin Bieber was the biggest new thing! Every girl was in love with him and his songs! He was all over the radio, t.v., and internet. You couldnt go anywhere without hearing about him. He had his pictures on clothes and im sure every girl had his poster and was day dreaming about him. If you say his name now people call him gay and a lot of other not nice things. He went from being the huge thing to almost dropping off the music. I mean he even had a movie about him, now he's fading out.
TRENDS
Skinny jeans came out a few years back and are now in every clothing store. They slowely progressed in getting popular. A lot more people are wearing skinny jeans now then when they came out. Some stores are now only selling skinny jeans! They've grown a lot in the past couple of years. I don't think skinny jeans will die down anytime soon. I think they are going to be popular in fashion for a long time.
Vans shoes have been around for a really long time. The starting of vans shoes started in 1966 and vans are still very popular! You see a lot of people wearing vans, there are a lot more different styles to choose from now then from when they were first making them. I love vans, i have two pairs of them and plan on getting some more in the future. I think vans will stay around for a long time, i honestly think they will never truly die down.
Apple products are a huge trend! Apple has been around for over thirty years. I'm sure that in every house hold there is at least on product of apple. Apple is very popular and will stay popular for awhile. Even though the co-founder of apple died last week i think apple will still go on strong and create new and better products.
V-necks are a HUGE fashion trend for both guys and girls. You see them everywhere, these have been out for awhile but are just starting to really grow and get popular. I absolutely love v-necks, so i have a lot of them. I'm seeing now that a lot of guys are starting to wear v-necks. I think v-necks are a good trend and will stay around for awhile!
This is an unusual trend! Dollar menu's started with a few fast food places. Now you can find a dollar menu at any fast food place. Some are definetly better then others but they're still dollar menu's. I think with time the dollar menu's will grow and get bigger, by having more food and drinks, larger selection you could say. Dollar menu's have become huge and are a great idea for the cheap people, like me! i love dollar menu's.
